Our Lord says, “My son,” as he is appearing on the Cross with flames of fire surrounding him. His body is bruised and Jesus appears to be so thin, as bones, “My son, walk into the sunlight.”

‘My Lord, you are suffering and you say to me, “Walk into the sunlight?”’

“My son, this is what I died for, that you and all of my children may walk in the beauty of the light each day.”

‘My Lord, it was because of these words that I arose now because they came to me before the vision calling me to arise.’

“Yes, arise out of the darkness of the night, to arise like Lazarus from the dead each day to see the light, for your heart to be filled with the light.”

‘My dear brothers and sisters, we must be aware that we are all, at one moment or another, living in a tomb from which we must arise, through which God desires to perfect us in his graces and mercy and to have new life each day.

May the eternal light and hope of your love, my Lord, consume my soul.’

“Yes, my son, that even during the suffering of my passion, even during my greatest sorrow, I was thinking of the joy that I shall give my children.

This should be taken as the greatest example that the least that you do for your brother, you do for me. And that when one lays down their life for their brother, it is the greatest gift of love to think not of oneself, even in one’s suffering, but to think of the love for others and loving your God.

I love you, my son. The enemy does not want you to fulfill this mission. Therefore, each day arise and walk into the light and I shall lead you.”
