I am having a vision of the Holy Cross made of gold appearing above my bed. It is gold, not at the value of this world but of the Holy Spirit. Its beauty is brilliant. Humble in its matte formation; it is not shiny. Yet it shines in the gift of salvation through our Lord’s passionate sacrifice on this Holy Cross, which is love fulfilled by love and the mercy, joy and hope of all that is good. I am thankful for the light and strength that it brings to my heart as I meditate upon it for God’s glory.
Jesus now says, “My son, be free in my love and go. Go as I desire and let nothing withhold you according to my will. Pray for deeper faith each day and a greater love for me, your Savior.”
‘Yes, my Lord, consume me in your love and I pray for deeper faith to walk in the footsteps of your mercy.’
“Go and sing a new song of love. For you are not bound by this world. You are bound by my loving mercy so that you may be abundant in all the blessings that I desire to give you.
When you return from Mexico, I will not call you to return once again for some months. And as you are here now, serve me by loving and serving others graciously each day, offering to them your heart. I will lead them to you and they will seek you in my name.”
‘Yes, my Lord, take me as you desire. Take me in your love.’
“I am with you, my son, and rejoice.”
‘My Lord, give me the strength and humility each day to be obedient to your call.’
“My son, seek first to love me and everything else shall be fulfilled in my mercy and my hope for your heart and the hearts of my children.”
