Easter Sunday
‘Psalm 37 says, “Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” If that is all that we must do, then may I always take delight in loving you. Remove by your holy hand of purity and truth that which is in my heart that does not take delight in you.
For as in Psalm 91, “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the almighty” and I desire to rest in you.
O Holy Cross, O my eternal Savior of merciful love and light, pour upon me the graces of your resurrection this day, that I may be led for your glory. Grant me the strength of all that is good, and may love reign, in and through you, within me.’
