As I was praying about the film that friends want to make about the life of blessed Carlo, I had a vision of Jesus appearing on the Holy Cross. Although he was not suffering, he was resting in the peace of his sacrifice and in the hope of his mercy that forgives.

Now Blessed Carlo appears, standing beside my bed as it is night. But he comes with the light of God’s love. I believe, I have hope and I love God.

The presence of Carlo is gentle. It is gentle as he is speaking to me, to my heart, without words, but with the love of Jesus. And I understand that any film made about his life must remain pure and true to the faith in loving God and in his love for God, as well as the purity of his life. May the eternal light of God’s mercy sanctify our souls.

‘O my Lord, take me as you desire.’

Jesus is now standing, appearing next to Carlo. Our Lord is dressed in white and he is our God of mercy and of hope for his children. Very fertile soil of faith begins to surround them as the vision is transformed into an open land that is rich and fertile. Our Lord points to the ground in the beauty of his silence. Pink roses appear, pink symbolizing the joy of the faith. That is also an answer to my prayer for the purity of this film to be fulfilled according, not to the ways of men, but to the way of God, for his ways are not our ways.

‘I love you, my Lord, and I thank you for allowing Carlo to come to me. I thank you for your loving mercy. O my Jesus, forgive us our sins and save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of your mercy.’

Our Lord now says, “My son, I desire that all things be fulfilled according to my love and in the mercy of my love to call all souls to repent. And I have allowed my dear son, Carlo, to come to you to be present in your life so that he may assist you in my mission of love for my children. For although he is not present on this earth, only in his preserved body, he will be present through you.”

‘I understand, my Lord. I want nothing for myself than to love you and to be an instrument of love for your children in any way that you desire, according to your will.’

“Know, my son, that my peace is with you and the peace of my mercy shall uphold you.”
