Program 5 of Light for Freedom- The Virgin Mary, our Mother and great Intercessor
Cecilia: Thank you for being with us on this program- Light for Freedom. I am with Gregory Kerr.
Gregory: Thank you so much, Cecilia and it’s a gift to be present, to share the light, the love and the hope of God’s mercy with his children.
Cecilia: Today we have a very important program about Our Lady. Gregory, what do you think about Our Lady? You have had the intercession of Our Lady, the guidance, the consolation of Our Lady for a number of years. What can you tell us about that?
I would like to have your opinion about the intercession of Our Lady in all difficult times, especially at the moment of death.
Gregory: In the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
I’d like to begin with the Hail Mary.
Cecilia: Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of the womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Gregory: And at this moment, we consecrate our hearts to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Our Lady, that we may be fulfilled by their love and the hope of our Lord’s mercy through her intercession of love for her children.
For she is a mother of love who desires to embrace her children daily in the hope of her son’s mercy calling them to the foot of the Cross each day. She offered herself at the foot of the Cross as the Mother of Sorrows who suffered the greatest sorrow of all humanity in witnessing her son’s death.
She calls us to the foot of the Cross each day to take her hand and to unite our hearts with her Immaculate Heart in prayer through her intercession in offering our hearts to the heart of her son Jesus and offering all of the intentions of our lives, our sorrows, our needs, our desperation, our loneliness, our fears and our concerns, our hopes, as well as the needs for our family, and most importantly, to grow in a deeper state of love and repentance.
To grow in a deeper state of conversion each day. To live in a state of repentance and conversion, because she is calling all souls throughout the world to conversion and peace to the love of her son.
Yes, to his hope, the joy and hope of his resurrection. In her love, in being the eternal spouse of the Holy Spirit, which when we have the Holy Spirit, we have everything, and we are being called to open our hearts through her intercession to the Holy Spirit each day. To grow in deeper faith and to say ‘yes’ to God as she said ‘yes’ to God, her great ‘yes’ for all of humanity, in her Annunciation, in her Annunciation of hope to become the spouse of the Holy Spirit, as well as her example in which she said, may it be done to me according to God’s will.
She too and our Lord are calling us to offer our lives in the example of their lives, in the example of her life, of humility and grace. She desires nothing more than that we love her son, that we love God above all things and that we love one another.
For her heart, and being the Immaculate Conception, is a pure heart of love for her children which she does not judge. She only calls. She calls us to the embrace of her son’s mercy, to repent, that we may be forgiven of our sins. Yes, that we may live in the healing hope of forgiveness and redemption for the gift of salvation, for the gift of eternal life in heaven with the Holy Trinity, with her as our mother and in the communion of all the angels and saints.
We are being called to honor our mother but not adore her, because only the triune God, the Holy Trinity should be adored and glorified. In her humility, she only desires that we go to her son Jesus. She is calling all of her children to return to the power of the Holy Eucharist, to return to her son in the Holy Eucharist of her son’s love and presence.
Because where her son is present in the Holy Eucharist, she is present. They are united as one, mother and son, for the fulfillment of the redemption of humanity in her universal call of love for all of God’s children throughout the world.
And to grow in faith through prayer, through reading of the scripture, the words of light, to bring truth from the darkness within our hearts, prayer with a simple heart, an open heart of love, with simple words of love to God that we may grow in faith.
And to live the practice of the faith in receiving and living the sacraments from within our hearts to guide us in following the example of the life of her son Jesus, the example of the gospel message of love, to love one another as God has loved us.
She is calling us to a greater peace, the peace that only God can give us, a peace fulfilled only through loving God, seeking God with all our hearts, giving ourselves wholly and fully to God to become holy, to become children of the light, children of grace and children of God’s mercy, living within the arms of his mercy each day.
That we do not forget our call to sanctity. For we are all called to be saints of God’s love, sanctified by his loving mercy and forgiveness. To grow, to grow and to love God more than all things.
Do you have any questions?
Cecilia: How does Our Lady express her love to you, especially during the most difficult times of your life, so our audience will have some guidance, an example of how to do it?
Gregory: It has been through prayer and seeking to unite my heart to her heart, immaculate and pure. Because she’s always present to receive us. That is why we are being called through prayer with an open heart for God and her. So I pray, pray, pray. Because I cannot live without her, to unite my heart to her each day and believing although you may not see her. Our Lord once said, blessed are those who believe that have not seen.
Because in being the spouse of the Holy Spirit and in calling us to receive the Holy Spirit, she leads us through her intercession and her presence, to fulfill our lives of faith, Cecilia.
Yes, we have the greatest example through Our Lady and in her purity and in her humility, her life, as to how we should follow in the footsteps of our Lord. Yes, in the footsteps of his light and love.
Because she is also our Mother of Sorrows who cries tears of sorrow from her heart, for the sins of mankind and the injustices that have taken place throughout the world. She is calling us to confession and reparation.
Yes, and what is reparation? It is choosing to make change. It is choosing to accept and be obedient to God’s will and to recover that which was lost from sin by acting according to the example of our Lord.
Cecilia: So she wants us to change. That’s something very clear. Not to continue sinning.
Gregory: Perfect. Translating this message into the practicality of our everyday lives of faith, she wants us to reject sin and accept the will of her son. Yes, his will of hope and salvation and being our Savior.
We must ask ourselves, in each circumstance of our lives, what would Jesus do? How would he act? Yes, what would Jesus do? I believe that’s a most important question.
Love is the answer to all things. It fulfills all things. And Jesus calls us to fulfill every act of our lives through love, compassion, mercy, kindness.
Yes, that when we fall, when we fall into the darkness of sin, we must rise in God’s mercy. Not to live in a state of self-condemnation, but to run to God’s mercy, to be forgiven and to continue to take the hand of Jesus and walk with him.
Do you understand?
Cecilia: Yes. We are always sinners. So, to stop sinning, it’s important to have Our Lady near us.
Gregory: She desires that we call upon her, and her holy and pure love, that she may lead us to her son. Like every mother who loves their son so dearly, she desires that he be known. Yes, in love, hope and trust in her son’s mercy.
Cecilia: Gregory, I want to ask you about the devotion of the holy rosary and the other devotions to Our Lady.
Gregory: If the rosary is our greatest weapon of prayer against Satan that breaks the bondages of sin in our lives, it is the most powerful of all prayers, exclusive of the greatest prayer of the Our Father which our Lord said is the greatest prayer.
By meditating upon the joyful, the sorrowful, the glorious and even the luminous mysteries, we are drawn closer to a state of grace, to God. Through the rosary, we are promised peace and joy, and the clarity to live the obedience of God’s will.
I know that when I begin to say the rosary that after the first decade, I feel this immense peace and love. It brings peace into the darkest or most difficult circumstances of our lives.
And what are your thoughts?
Cecilia: My thoughts about this is that we can obtain everything through the rosary. What do you think?
Gregory: Yes. With each prayer of the rosary, I offer my intentions of love. I offer my intentions of hope, my needs, my sadness, my pains and my fears because through prayer we receive God’s love. Our Lord said that love casts out all fear.
I am speaking from my heart to your heart because I have lived this. I have lived the power of the rosary and I have lived through prayer the most difficult times in my life.
Cecilia: So, it is very important, you feel comfort when you pray the rosary.
Gregory: I most enjoy saying the rosary when I am walking. Or, most often when I am unable to go to sleep, I begin to say the rosary and it brings me peace. I may fall asleep during the rosary, but I believe we all, always say that she finishes it for us.
Cecilia: It is very important to pray the rosary every day. It has a lot of promises, given to our souls and our families.
Gregory: Prayer also unites the family, that life begins in the family, that love is fulfilled in the family. Parents have the responsibility to raise their children in the faith and through the power of the rosary, through prayer, bondages are broken. We are delivered. We are set free into the light of God’s mercy and hope.
Cecilia: I think Our Lady always is helping us.
Gregory: She is always helping us.
Cecilia: So that makes a difference between other religions and our catholic religion.
Gregory: Yes, that we trust her as a good mother. I believe that what you just said and that she helps us and that we can trust her as a good mother, that we can find sanctuary in her.
Cecilia: She suffers quite a lot when we are separated from God.
Gregory: Yes. Because she wants us to be close to him. She wants us to love him more so each day. Because she knows that by loving her son everything in our lives will be fulfilled for his glory and she desires that his heart be glorified.
She desires to help us in all things. No word of prayer is lost from her heart because she places them within her heart of love to offer to the throne of heaven.
Cecilia: We have to do another program about consecration to Our Lady.
Gregory: Yes, our next program will be about consecration, the consecration of love, the consecration of hope and of faith in God’s mercy through her. Yes, I think it would be a wonderful program.
Cecilia: Yes. We have finished today this important topic about Our Lady and her intercession.
Gregory: I want to share that I love each one of you. I want to fulfill this program through love. Not by my words, not for my glory, but for the glory of God within your heart, for your redemption and peace. Because prayer through the intercession of Our Lady produces great peace within our hearts.
Amen.
Cecilia: Amen. Thank you Gregory for being with us. We will hear from you soon in our next program.
Gregory: Thank you, Cecilia. Gracias.
