‘When we gather here for lunch at Padre Tony’s, everyone is joyful—the priests laugh, they tell jokes, they play music, and most of all, they unite in their love for one another. May this house be blessed in your mercy, O Lord, and may your peace reign upon us.

Oh, the joy of being here in this province of Puerto Plata, where I first spoke at a Holy Mass where Monsignor Nicanor was present, giving a retreat at the house next door to the church, a retreat for the priests. He served the mass and listened with love, and he is still like a spiritual father for me today.

After I spoke and the mass was finished, he said that he gave me approval to speak in all of his churches that invited me and to come to speak at the retreat for the priests. The day was hot but filled with blessings and revelations from our Lord for their hearts. The message that I shared was in confirmation of what Monsignor was speaking of at the retreat. Only our Lord can fulfill such works in his mercy and kindness.

I pray now with gratitude, in service of your love, my Lord. May I always overcome pride in all the mercies that you have shown me through your blessings and graces, that you, and only you, may receive the glory for the edification of your children.

So many days, so much to remember, and as my heart settles and rests here, the Holy Spirit is calling me to share these experiences of his holy love. May the eternal glory of the light consume me, and may your light shine through me, Lord. This province, where I first spoke, the township of La Isabella, which still exists, is the place where Columbus first offered the Holy Mass for all the Americas. The site still exists now.

There is a new church on the ocean, beautiful, made of coral by the sea, where I also spoke at a large gathering for youth, now twenty-one years ago, but like yesterday.

May I continue to persevere in my mission. Lord, Lord, grant me the grace and the strength, the humility, to persevere in your love for your glory and your hope. For all this country has given me, may I not remain silent, that your heart may be glorified. For every message spoken has been one of love, the fruits of love, mercy, the hope of mercy and repentance.

And to finish, from the outer balcony of the church in Lazabella, where there is an expansive view of the bay and the ocean. They say that the sun spins, and it did so the day that I first went, igniting the ocean with silvery reflections.

O my Lord, my God, your journey has been great and glorious. Even in the suffering, you have produced only hope. May I give all of you through giving all of me to you, for those in need of your Holy Church. For what good is it to gain the whole world if we lose, if we lose you? What Paul said was true. Recognize through your Spirit and may your love shine from within me.’
