“My son, does it not make you happy to be here with me?”

‘Yes, my Lord. Renew the joy of my heart and soul this day in being here with you, to speak to your heart and to hear your voice in and all around me. Each time we pray, the words of prayer reverberate throughout the world. No goodness, no truth is lost in the power of prayer that unites us. And I pray now for peace, peace throughout the world and within the hearts of my brothers and sisters. I desire to seek only you.’

“Yes, my son, I am happy that you have come to me in the glory of this night.”

‘My Lord, the air is still cool as if it were January.’

“Yes, my son, when you were in the Dominican, you thought that you had missed the last days of winter. But I have placed my hands upon the air, that it shall remain cool to give joy to your heart.”

‘Not only my heart but many my Lord.’

“Yes, but so few recognize. They see, but do they recognize me? No, my son, which is why I open your heart to receive me.”

‘My Lord, as David said in Psalm 34, “I called upon the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.” Deliver me from those fears within my heart that I may fly each day in the light. For in fear, we cannot lift our wings to heaven. We cannot become who you desire for us to be and fulfill what you desire for us to fulfill.

Our eyes become closed and trapped within our flesh so that the Spirit cannot move us as we walk, to grow according to your will.

My eyes have seen your glory. I have witnessed your love and I thank you that I can experience you in all things this night.

I love you, my Lord. Take me as you desire in your love and lead me in the joy of your mercy.’
