‘My Lord, I praise you for the glory of your will, for the light, that is your will, of goodness that fills me.
You once said, Jesus, ‘I am the vine and you are the branches. Without me, you cannot bear fruit, but with me, you can bear much fruit.’ Lord, I desire to bear much fruit for you. Keep me safe, O Lord, in the holiness of your will, protect me each day in the joy that is your mercy.’
“Yes, my son, yes, seek me in my mercy this day. Seek to serve your family as you are now with them and I shall guide you in my loving goodness.”
‘Show me your way.’
“My son, as your mother once said, take the hand of Jesus and go with him.”
‘My Lord.’
“My son, I offer to you my hand that you may walk with me in my love for all eternity.”
‘Teach me the way of your mercy and the path of your truth each day.’
“My son, the words that we speak are not only for you, they are for all souls. So, speak with an open heart of love for me.”
‘Yes, my Lord, I desire not to walk blindly, but each day heal my blindness that I may see you, that I may see your path more clearly. I have witnessed so many miracles, even the greatest in the small and simple things. My heart is full of love for you and my soul rejoices in God my Savior.
May the glory of your light that comes to me now fill my heart with peace, the peace of your will and the joy of your mercy. And why, for me, is your mercy joyful? It is because my brothers and sisters understand our Lord’s mercy is compassionate in every way, his hope, good in all things.
My Lord, you said you are the way, the truth and the life. Take me in your mercy. May your love shine forever more within me.’
