During Holy Mass this morning on the first Friday of Lent, our Lord appeared from the Cross once again with his Precious Body bleeding in the hope for the redemption of his children. For without the passion, we would not have the resurrection for the forgiveness of our sins and the salvation that God is offering to all souls.

Our Lady appeared at the foot of the Cross kneeling with her hands placed upon her knees, clasped in prayer, her eyes looking up upon Jesus. Although she did not speak, her presence at the foot of the Cross speaks for all of eternity. And which our Lord said, mother, this is your son and son, this is your mother.

Yes, she was kneeling in the silence of prayer, interceding for all of her children throughout the world, for peace, for conversions and for those who do believe, to have a greater love for God each day, calling all of us to live our lives at the foot of the Cross, in prayer, in repentance and in penance that we may grow in the light of Christ and the mercy of his passion.
