Holy Saturday
In Psalm 108, David says, “My heart, O God, is steadfast and I will sing and make music with all my soul.”
‘Yes, my Lord, you have always said to sing a new song of hope, of love and of life. And my soul sings for your mercy as you rest now in your tomb that prepares us for your resurrection and the life that we have within us through your rising from death to life.
O Holy Spirit, fill my soul and grant me the wisdom of your graces. Grant me the holy and eternal desires to know you and only you, and to rejoice in singing a new song each day.
My Lord, my heart is sad for where you are now. But through your sacrifice, you have given us freedom and light and life. And when you rise, come and take me within your arms that I may have new life in you each day.’
