‘For I know not what to do. My eyes are fixed on you, my Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever.’
As I look out to the ocean, filled with both calm and rippling streams, and the clouds from sunset, darkening through light layers of pink and blue, so beautiful.
The Holy Spirit is appearing in the form of a dove flying above the waters. And I can see with its wings the movement of love across the earth, a flight of hope and redemption filled with the mercy of our Lord’s passion and the strength of his resurrection.
The vision is beautiful, the dove, the Holy Spirit, so white and pure against the night sky. I first saw him in flight, rising above the waters, which led me, called me, to come to my balcony where silence reigns and the night is pure and the air sweet in God’s love.
Oh, we are all weak and imperfect. Yet Christ calls us with our scars, our sins and our sufferings to be redeemed and be loved by only him and to fulfill that love through our imperfections.
‘O Lord, for who is perfect but you? And by your graces, I praise you for the glory of the light that is perfecting us. Oh, take me as you desire, my Lord. Let us sing this night of love and only love––holy, pure and true. Grant my heart rest and may peace reign within me.’
